Born and raised in Oakland, Peter spent summers on the beaches of Cape Cod, learning to swim in the ocean and at home, where he headed to the Hills Club with his parents, and jumped into the pool before joining Coach Shad and the Hills’ swim team. That led to responsibility and dedication, moving him among the ranks and polishing his skills. By high school, Peter became one of the anchors in the Men’s Swim Team at Bishop O’Dowd High School, and swam Varsity with them all four years. Dedicated, driven, perfectionist – yet always willing to mentor others to achieve their best and be team players.
Recently graduated from Chapman University, where he was on their swim team for a year and spent a semester abroad playing with the Hong Kong Olympic Water Polo Team, Peter is happy to have returned to his community to reciprocate the swimming skills he has learned. Swimming is Peter’s number one hobby and a great passion of his that he has devoted over ten years to and continues to work on. He loves to find that passion in younger ones, and nurture it.
