Erin was born and raised in St. Paul Minnesota. It was there that her love of swimming began. At the age of five she was swimming in lakes with her grandma, by 16 an avid synchronized swimmer. Her accomplishments were rewarded with a Minnesota State Title in both the short solo and duet divisions. After serving two years in Americorps, Erin moved to the Bay Area where she attended Mills College. While there, she swam DIII and taught both swim and lifeguard classes. She graduated in 2007 with a degree in International Relations and Anthropology. Erin has remained in the swim world and has coached with USA Age Group and Masters Swim as well as at the Collegiate level. Erin coached and taught swimming at The Hills after the pool remodel in 2012 for a few years and has returned eager to teach!
