June Newsletter 2013

Dear Members:

In spite of some drizzly weather, we had a fun time at our Memorial Day party last weekend.  Many of you turned out for some great food and music, and it was nice to see everyone.

With summer upon us, we have some changes in our rules and schedules around the club.  Obviously, the main pool is in high demand this time of year, with campers, swim team and lessons all requiring dedicated space.  Lap swimmers are advised to check the pool schedule on the Aquatics page of our website for the best times to “swim around” these activities.

Also, we do not accept free guest passes during the summer (June 1-August 31).  If you do bring guests to the club, please sign them in at the front desk with a completed waiver.  You may charge guest fees to your Hills account ($20 for adults, $15 for kids), or pay at the front desk.

Parking is another summer issue where we need your cooperation.  Our neighbors on Manzanita Drive are inconvenienced when club members park on the street adjacent to their homes and driveways. On such a narrow street, this can also create a traffic hazard. So whenever possible, please find a space in our parking lots.  If you have to park in the upper lot, you’ll be stretching your legs as a warm up before your workout!

Finally, if you’re still arranging your kids’ summer schedule, please consider signing them up for our summer activities camp or our popular group swim lessons.  There are still some spaces available, so visit our website for registration details.

We’re all looking forward to a wonderful summer season ahead!

To your health,

Ernesto Chamorro
General Manager
