Eddie Pasternak: 510-703-5783 |
(Private lessons $85 per hour; $300 for a package of four)

Eddie has quietly been heading our tennis program for a number of years. He is a top-tier instructor, certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association. For nearly 30 years, he’s taught privately and at club facilities all over the East Bay including the Claremont Country Club, Montclair Recreation Center, and here at The Hills.

Scores of Eddie’s past students have raved about his approach to teaching the game. He makes tennis seem simple, encouraging the fundamentals for beginners and polishing strokes and strategy for more advanced players. Check out Eddie in this YouTube video as he explains his coaching approach and offers a few tips!

Best of all, Eddie conducts free clinics each month here at the club — a little known perk of your Hills membership.

Lexi Bevins, Tennis Instructor

imgLexi started teaching tennis several years ago in Southern California. She worked at United States Tennis Association (USTA) tennis camps, while also providing private lessons to children in her community. She played varsity tennis in high school, community college, and at Holy Names University. She notes that her tennis team was the highest-ranked (NCAA Division II) sport at the university! Lexi says: "I am extremely passionate about tennis and look forward to sharing my love and knowledge of the sport with members at The Hills!"

David Siu, Tennis Instructor

imgDavid began playing tennis competitively at the age of 10. He reached a USTA Top 100 ranking among Northern California Boys at several age levels. He’s trained at several highly renowned tennis academies around the country, played varsity tennis at Piedmont High, been an instructor with the Piedmont Recreation Department, and coached at his alma mater. “The interpersonal bond that I develop with each of my players is irreplaceable,” David says.
