PIlates and Aqua
Bz (“bee-zee”) has extensive experience in dance, Pilates, running and Aqua Fitness. She started ballet training at age four, dabbled in figure skating and continued with modern dance through her college years. She began teaching group fitness and dance classes in 1984. A versatile athlete, Bz competed in triathlons in the 80’s and 90’s, and has been a competitive runner for over 30 years. “Though I’ve always had a love of the water as a swimmer, it wasn’t until I was injured and tried deep-water running to stay conditioned that I realized the amazing benefits of deep-water exercise.” Because of that experience, she became interested to learn more. She soon earned certification in Aquatic Fitness through AEA. She’s SCW-certified in Mat Pilates and Personal Training and has taught at many clubs around the East Bay. Bz’s also completed Red Cross Safety Training for Swim Coaches and several STOTT Pilates courses and workshops.
