November 1 Newsletter 2013
Greetings from General Manager Ernesto Chamorro
Right off the bat, I want to thank everyone who helped make our Halloween party a big success. We had over 300 folks here at the club last Friday night to enjoy some delicious food, spooky activities and lots of holiday entertainment. We’ll post a video on our Facebook page, so be sure to check it out.Last month, the club sent out an email survey to our membership and we’ve initiated a number of projects based on your feedback. Many of these projects are intended to add space and convenience to The Hills, like expanding the gym and parking facilities. In that same vein, we have considered ways we can also increase your access to the swim lanes.
Effective in January, we have decided to curtail non-members from enrolling in swim lessons and in our summer activity camps. Likewise, we will restrict non-member access to our group fitness classes, with the exception of TRX and Pilates courses. We hope this new policy will free up more lanes, improve our parking situation, and enhance your visits to the club.
I think this kind of decision shows that the club takes your input seriously, and that we’re constantly working to improve our facilities, programs and amenities for our valued members. So please keep an eye out for quarterly satisfaction surveys and make sure we have current email addresses for your family and friends.
Looking ahead, we are planning some exciting discounts to promote our various fitness programs. We’ll announce all of our “Black Friday” discounts in our next eNews. Don’t miss the chance to save some cash and challenge yourself with a new class or training program.
Finally, you may have noticed some work in progress in our upper parking lot. We have widened the lot to allow up to 8 additional parking spots. We are also working to create additional spaces for staff parking; down the driveway, below the lower lot.
Please watch for upcoming news and surveys. Also be sure to check us out on Facebook. We’re listening for your feedback!
To your health,
Ernesto
