Imogene was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She began competitive swimming at six and has continued since then. She now swims at Orinda Aquatics in Moraga, CA. Imogene has found a passion for teaching swimming and has prior experience as a swim instructor for all ages. She has taught all levels, from beginners getting comfortable in the water to swimmers focusing on technique. Along with swimming, Imogene has lots of experience working with children from babysitting and volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club. She is currently a rising senior at Bishop O’Dowd High School. Outside the pool, Imogene loves reading, baking, traveling, and spending time in nature. Her goal as a swim instructor is to get people more comfortable and enjoy being in the water.
