Taylor has always been addicted to the water, and was quick to start her swimming journey. Originally born in San Francisco, she started learning how to swim at the age of 3. She later moved to the East Bay where she has been swimming competitively for the Hills Hurricanes Swim Team for about eight years. Currently, she is attending Piedmont High School, for whom she also swims and competes. Throughout Taylor´s swim career, she has qualified/ competed at numerous swim meets. Some of which include: Junior Olympics, Far Westerns, Senior 2 Invitational meets at Cal and Santa Clara, and is ranked top-100 in CA for the class of 2024. While you can almost always find Taylor up at the Hills swimming and training with her team, she also enjoys exploring the outdoors, skiing, babysitting, and drawing. Although Taylor is a busy student, she always finds a way to spend her time up at the pool. She is a part-time Lifeguard at the Hills Swim and Tennis Club. As a swimmer, Taylor has faced many obstacles such as the fear of water and immense nervousness. It was from her past experiences that truly motivated and shaped her mindset, and left her wanting more that led to her success. Now as a swim instructor, Taylor´s goal is to help everyone gain a sense of confidence in the water, and make swimming as positive and enjoyable as possible!
